Santa Ana winds set to blow again, watch for Los Angeles wildfires

Three other wildfires are still burning in the Los Angeles area, with the Palisades Fire, the largest, now 14 percent contained after burning nearly 2,000 acres. The second-most raging fire, the Eaton Fire, has burned more than 1,000 acres and is now 33 percent contained. The Hurst Fire, the smallest, has burned more than 2,000 acres and is now 95 percent contained.

Officials are racing against time to bring the fire under control as winds are forecast to intensify again early Tuesday into Wednesday local time, with maximum wind speeds of 112 km/h (70 mph). However, local officials say they are fully prepared for the coming weather conditions.
